So Rosie required a makeover. This little goat had been sitting in the shop for a while. She is unframed and nobody was taking any notice of her sweet naughty face. She came home to play. It took me a while to source the sunflowers I desired. When I tracked the flowers down I was hesitant because they were expensive. Tucked in a corner I found the reduced flowers. And sunflowers. Perfect. She does look as if she might be smoking the petals...anyhow I have some lovely sunflowers to enjoy.
What better way to spend a cold and wet June day than in Midtown Makers? Especially as it was Election Day - AGAIN.....I didn't get to paint this time but just wait for next week! I shall be in the studio space and shop on Monday as usual.
Come and see them in Midtown Makers, Church Street, Ballymena. #cerisart; #animalsofmidtownmakers; #ballymenameansbusiness; #ballymenaartists;
Once upon a time....this little swan went to market. Well, she went to Midtown Makers in Ballymena. I took her home for a coat of varnish.
She was to come to Antrim Garden Show. It was our 'two days of summer' here in the north of Ireland so I was busy in the garden as well as the studio; painting garden furniture. The sprays looked alike....and missy here got splattered. Black gloss.
Yesterday I played with her as part of my June 15 minute practice. 15 minutes disappeared and so did the rest of the evening. It was wet. I was having fun. So here she is now. With a band of little fairy folk. She has been magicked.
